Low Polygon is an emerging band. Their name, inspired by the 3D low-polygon technique, reflects their distinctive electro-acoustic style. The visual identity features a custom alphabet with evolving three-dimensional letters, echoing the band’s concept and complementing the sonic dimension with a visual universe, thereby creating a multisensory experience.
Low Polygon is an emerging Italian band that blends electronic and acoustic sounds, creating electronic rock with sharp rhythms. The band’s name is inspired by the 3D low-polygon technique, which reflects their distinctive style. Their music is characterized by overlying loops that generate a three-dimensional sound experience.
The visual identity draws from these same concepts.
At the core of the project is a custom alphabet made up of a continuous loop of squares. The LOW POLYGON typeface – derived from the band’s name – is a variable font that evolves in three dimensions, just like their music. It is also used in the logotype and in the monogram, which merges an “L” with a reversed “P.”
The dynamic and edgy shapes generated by the 3D animated alphabet – complemented by Field Gothic, a typeface that echoes its traits – form a visual universe that extends and completes the sonic dimension, creating a multisensory experience that fully engages the listener.
