Burn & Broad

Another Day : One World Flag

Project Summary

One World Flag is the second solo exhibition and short film by Another Day, the artist duo of Vicente Garcia Morillo and Eugene Serebrennikov.
One World Flag reimagining of flags – not as symbols of division, but as a shared, universal emblem of unity and interconnection. Through film, art, exhibition, and collective reflection, the project challenges us to see beyond borders and recognize our common humanity. It’s a call to shift perspectives, foster connection, and inspire global consciousness into action.

Told through voiceovers that represent the arc of human understanding from the curiosity of a young voice to the wisdom of an older woman, the narrative reflects a journey we all share. Created in a time of rising polarization, the project was shaped by a desire to respond to the growing use of fear as a tool for separation. As artists, we felt compelled to use our own tools – art, storytelling, and design – to take action and offer a symbol of unity.

Project Information

One World Flag is the second solo exhibition and short film by Another Day, the artist duo of Vicente Garcia Morillo and Eugene Serebrennikov
One World Flag is a bold exploration of unity and interconnection, challenging the traditional role of flags as markers of separation and reimagining them as a shared emblem of everyone and everything.
Filmed across Portugal, the project asks a profound question: What if one flag could represent us all? In a time defined by division, it invites us to see beyond the lines that divide and imagine symbols that unite.
This is more than a film, it’s a creative act of global reflection. Through art, film, and exhibition, Another Day uses its tools and voice to take action: to shift perspectives, spark dialogue, and foster deeper connection. One World Flag is a visual and emotional call to reimagine the symbols we rally around – not for countries, but for the collective human spirit.Because unity is more than an idea, it requires awareness, participation, and a shared belief in our interconnected future.
