Dusty, the hop moon, breathes space dust onto the world and triggers a cataclysmic event. These two 15-second spots were created for Elysian Brewing’s “Space Dust” and “Juice Dust” IPAs in 2024. For these spots, we developed virtual reality sculpting and animation techniques to create a hand-crafted look.

Will Wharton studied under media artists Casey Reas, Refik Anadol and Toshio Iwai.  Drawing inspiration from nature, Will Wharton uses constructed systems of logic to create playful digital ecosystems that both mirror and challenge our reality. These logic systems originate from a practice of speculative design, creating objects or things that would result from an imagined world.
