Sound producer SKYTOPIA and graphic designer Ikuho Tamura have released their third collaborative single, “Run.”
The music was produced by SKYTOPIA, while the artwork was created by Tamura. As with previous collaborations, the sound and visuals were produced side-by-side, with mutual inspiration shaping the final piece.
Inspired by the theme of “running,” the visual motif draws from Eadweard Muybridge’s pioneering motion photography.
The video features analog-style ASCII art animation using a rotoscope-inspired technique. Paired with a track rooted in UK garage and house, enriched by memorable melodies, the piece captures and energizes the listener’s own sense of motion.
