For two days, Studio F451 set up their office at the PROGRAM/ME gallery, turning the launch of their website into a performance. The design and programming were live-streamed directly at the website’s URL, letting viewers and passersby spy on each stage of the working process.

In a gallery space converted into a temporary office, Domitille and Quentin launched a live stream and sat at a shared table to begin building their new studio website. This setup transformed a typically hidden, screen-bound process into a collaborative, visible performance. (It was also a much-needed push to finally work on their portfolio after four years of putting it off.)
Over two days, every stage of the website’s creation was made public: from early design sketches to development, from structural choices to debugging, from content writing to coffee breaks.
The live stream switched between three video feeds: Quentin’s screen, Domitille’s screen, and a fixed camera capturing the installation. Live subtitles annotated the process in real time, offering viewers and passersby insight into both technical and creative choices. The stream was broadcast directly at the URL of the website being built, folding the act of making into the site itself.
Rather than presenting the website as a finished product, they showcased it as a live, evolving project. The performance opened a literal window onto their work process, highlighting it as a collaborative, ongoing, and human endeavor.
On the first evening, they hosted a roundtable called *Do We Still Need Websites?*, unfolding the group’s doubts and reflections on the digital landscape and the future of websites, with Kim Boutin, Manon Bruet, and François Girard-Meunier. The second evening celebrated the website’s launch and the gallery opening.
